Vermont Composites is proud to provide financial and volunteer support to many local non-profit organizations.
Since its inception, we have been one of the lead sponsors of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event held annually in June. Our energetic employee team conducts fund-raisers throughout the year and has raised thousands of dollars for this great cause.
For the past two years we have had an employee team participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake event. One of our employees received special recognition for being in the top three for his fundraising efforts.
Other local groups we have provided financial support to include the Bennington Boy Scouts, Bennington Little League, Hoosic River Watershed Organization, New England Music Festival, Spirit of Sharing, Bennington Tutorial Center, United Counseling Services, Bennington Energy Committee, Bennington Coalition for the Homeless and the Bennington Area Vietnam Veterans Memorial Walkway.
As part of our efforts to promote health and fitness both on and off the job, we also provide financial support for employee teams participating on company sponsored athletic teams. Our employees currently have teams in basketball, softball, volleyball, wiffleball, bowling and ski leagues.
