At Vermont Composites we have a commitment to life long learning. Each team member will receive an average of 60 hours of training annually. When new team members join our workforce they receive training on our policies, health and safety programs and an overview of our products and customers. Every position at Vermont Composites has a specified curriculum that lists the minimum training requirements for each position. These curriculums are reviewed by the department, quality and training manager for appropriateness. Once a new team member has completed their initial training, they will receive training on the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Our professional employees have the opportunity to attend advanced training on various software, sales and management courses. Our operations employees receive additional training in the areas of quality at the source, precision measurement, blue print reading and the installation various fasteners. Vermont Composites also partners with local educational institutions to provide our employees with educational opportunities outside of the facility via our tuition assistance program.
