In 2008 Vermont Composites constructed and staffed an onsite learning center for their team members. The center’s purpose is to provide ‘business focused’ training for all VCI team members. The educational opportunities provided to our team members allow us to attract, develop and retain a highly skilled workforce. The center is able to develop and deliver courses that ensure that our team members possess the skills necessary to build high quality products for our customers. In addition to manufacturing skills training, the center also coordinates external training opportunities with educational institutions, vendors and customers. These opportunities include; software, LEAN manufacturing, technical skills as well as soft skills and business related courses.
